Prior to joining H&L law, Ms. Leng served as a corporate counsel for a telecommunication company, where she gained extensive experience in both transactional matters, corporate governance, and multi-state business taxation. She is adept in contract review, analysis and drafting, and have a deep understanding of corporate structures and business entities. She has advised on legal and tax aspects of business planning and assumed principal responsibility in executing business restructuring plans.
Ms. Leng is passionate and proficient in M&A transactions. She is well-versed in deal steps, equity structures, fund flow, due diligence, and M&A taxation. She had experience developing all essential algorithms for a tax calculator, which compares and ranks tax liabilities and benefits resulting from all available deal structures (stock sales, assets sales, mergers, 338(h)(10) elections, etc.) for sales or acquisitions of C corporations, S corporations, LLCs and partnerships. Ms. Sigle is experienced in family law. As a wife and a mother, she understands the challenges in a divorce, and makes her mission to protect the rights and assets of her clients. As an immigrant, she knows the ins and outs of the immigration system, and has used her expertise to unite families and assist the underprivileged. She has acted as outside counsels for local businesses and provided a full range of legal services in the business context. Prior to joining the H&L Law in Houston, Ms. Sigle became the go-to attorney in the local Asian community in Kansas City.
Ms. Sigle proudly serves as a JAG (Judge Advocate) Officer in the U.S. Army and recently completed a tour of duty in the Middle East. She delivered her legal knowledge up to the front of our defense line. During her deployment, she represented the U.S. Army, advised the commanders, assisted soldiers on their family issues, and defended them against administrative actions. As a commissioned officer, she holds herself up to higher moral and ethical standards.
